Jon

Jonathan Daniel Anderson was born on August 12, 1988. He makes his home in Annville, a small town in southeastern Kentucky. Jon first showed interest in music at a very young age. At only three years old, he made his first stage appearance with his grandfather Roy Collett of the Red Bird Ramblers. Dressed in his cowboy hat and boots, Jon traveled to as many shows as he could with his grandfather and the band. Jon's interest in music only grew as he became older and at the age of 12, he started to teach himself how to play the guitar. He played for hours on end and it wasn't long before Jon was playing in church every Sunday. Seeing how quickly he had learned to play the guitar, Jon borrowed a banjo from his older brother Brian and began to teach himself to play it as well. Today, Jon can play almost anything that has strings. He is a natural. Jon has played with a variety of groups including Randy Kohrs, Elmer Burchette and The Letterbox Boys.
